We’re off! Or at leastour stuff is. This weekend was spent packing most of our earthly belongings and preparing them for a move to McNeal AZ. The truck just came to pick them up and once again I’ve said goodbye to my kitchen stuff for a few months. It might sound ridiculous but of all our stuff that we pack up and “do without” for a while, my kitchen items are those I miss the most. Every time we unpack in a new place, it feels like Christmas when I unwrap my pots, pans, dishes, and
appliances.
Anyways, it’s crazy to think we are on the move already again (we’ve been married 5.5yrs and this will be our eighth move). In many ways we feel as though we have just arrived at the training center and in other ways it feels like we have been here for years. We have made so many dear friends in the short amount of time we’ve been here and we are so sad to be saying goodbye already. But we are so excited for each and every one of their ministries and we are cheering for them as they finish their training here and go out to their places of ministry. Now we will be able to rejoice all the more when one of their tribal works hears the gospel for the first time, and we will have so much more heart to put into our ministry because we will know and love the church planters we are serving. We do hope to see several of our friends join us on the PNG field in the next couple years!
You can pray for our move which starts next Thursday. We will be leaving directly after graduation and driving through the night to Colorado. We have some awesome friends we are stopping to stay with for a couple days and then we will be on to California where we will spend the next two and a half months. If you are in California, PLEASE let us know when we can get together with you! We are excited to reunite with family and friends there…plus, we have to introduce you all to Kimi!
