February 14th is a pretty important day in our lives together. Ten years ago, it was the day Brent and I sat down at the Starbucks in Laguna Beach and decided to pursue a relationship focused on joining in the work of New Tribes Mission Aviation. Five years ago we were in the capital of Papua New Guinea discussing the previous two months we had spent with New Tribes missionaries, observing their ministry to unreached tribal people. Our passion for joining God’s work through aviation had been rekindled after seeing their ministry first hand. And one year ago, we found out God was forming our little son Luke.
THIS February 14th saw the beginning of the fruit of the past decade as we began packing up our little apartment to ship overseas. Pray for us as we have 10 days to purchase what we need, pack up, and load a container bound for Goroka, Papua New Guinea! Please pray as we become “homeless” for the next three months, or until we leave for PNG. God is so good to have gotten us this far, we’ve no doubt he’ll get us there, but some days it feels unreal. Thanks for walking this journey with us!

I remember that trip 5 years ago. It’s been really cool to follow you guys since then and see the journey! You encourage us to know we will be where you are at some point in the near future! Thanks for being faithful.
