Brian went out this morning and started the car and noticed a loud “growling” sound coming from the oil pump housing. Unfortunately it is a big job to replace the pump, but it is manageable. We ordered parts for the job and will look into it further when they arrive.
It is too bad that it isn’t simply a malfunctioning light. The sound made it pretty obvious to Brian that he was dealing with something big. The troubleshooting only took a few minutes, so thank the Lord for wisdom, and the noisy pump!
