Thanks for your prayers! Our car made it to Springfield safely and we were greeted by a man whose son went to Moody Aviation to be a pilot with New Tribes Mission! His son never made it through Moody’s flight program, but it was fun to make that connection. He was very helpful, and put me at ease with leaving our car there. It was the first time that I have ever dropped a car off for anything other than tires so it wasn’t easy to do! Maybe it’s like dropping kids off at school for the first time…I don’t know.
We tried to get a picture of our car on the flatbed trailer under the “Reliable Lexus-The Relentless Pursuit of Perfection” sign, but this is all I could get for you. Our car has now been inspected and we are awaiting the final verdict. Will they pay for a new engine or will we pay for the engine. Whatever the decision, please pray that God will give us wisdom and strength to grow in grace, and exhibit grace in the midst of frustrating circumstances.
