Flying Tomorrow

October 24, 2012 by Brian and Bailey Pruett

With this simple certificate I'll resume flying and I'll be one step closer to having my license reinstated by the Philippine authorities.

After almost two months of wading through paper work, tests and trips to Manila I finally received my temporary pilots license today. This allows me to practice for my coming check ride with a Philippine flight instructor/examiner so that I can have my permanent license reissued.

Through this process I learned that I can speak English at the same level as a native English speaker and that I can sign a document and give it to someone else who can get it notarized for me. I learned a lot of other things too, but in the end I’m just thrilled that I get to go out and practice in the plane tomorrow.

Not sure, but my sarcasm detector was indicating “positive” when I read this. Glad to hear you are flying again!
