After almost two months of wading through paper work, tests and trips to Manila I finally received my temporary pilots license today. This allows me to practice for my coming check ride with a Philippine flight instructor/examiner so that I can have my permanent license reissued.
Through this process I learned that I can speak English at the same level as a native English speaker and that I can sign a document and give it to someone else who can get it notarized for me. I learned a lot of other things too, but in the end I’m just thrilled that I get to go out and practice in the plane tomorrow.

Not sure, but my sarcasm detector was indicating “positive” when I read this. Glad to hear you are flying again!
