Manila is a great place to live your first year here because you can find almost anything you want&#8230;if you&#8217;re willing to pay the price.<\/strong><!--more--> We <em>were<\/em> willing to pay the price at first, but as time has gone on and we&#8217;ve gotten more used to the way Filipinos cook, the things that once were necessary have become more of a luxury.\u00a0 That&#8217;s a good thing except that I&#8217;m running out of ideas!\u00a0 Do you ever get in cooking ruts when you start to cook the same things over and over and over again and can&#8217;t seem to get out?<\/p>\n<p>Well, I&#8217;m there!\u00a0 I&#8217;m writing in a desperate attempt to get out of the rut and get some fresh recipes!\u00a0 Please help me! If you have any simple, yummy recipes that don&#8217;t use much dairy (especially cheese) or beef, please send them to me!
