We would be on our own and Brian would be flying, Bailey would take over the bookkeeping and also do the flight following. There were lots of projects at the hangar, on the airplane and in the office that needed attention. Brian and Joel spent some long days and several trips to and from the city 3 hours away, to get these projects accomplished.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 448px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"webkit-fake-url:\/\/D3C0E5AC-059E-4B42-A8DE-A1FD3FAF1A6B\/image.tiff\" alt=\"\" width=\"448\" height=\"600\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">New Upholstery: the front seats of the plane were original 1977 upholstery and others looked just as bad. I felt like I needed a has-mat suit to take them apart!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"webkit-fake-url:\/\/C1057AF7-8DE3-41DF-BF7D-4C43B37A2B01\/image.tiff\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"309\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Engine Monitors and Tuned Injectors: we got all the sensors for our engine monitor working and installed tuned fuel injectors. This setup saves us nearly $20 per hour in fuel!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"webkit-fake-url:\/\/4B4A318C-7EF9-4CAB-ACDA-9A5B30FDEFA0\/image.tiff\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"481\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Brian worked at improving the way we do things in order to find ways to make us more efficient, effective and also more unified in how we do things. One area he focused on was our flight following procedures.
