Brian and the guys in the shop have begun the rebuild on the helicopter we\u2019re going to use to start the program in the Philippines. Eventually this helicopter will replace another one in our fleet so we\u2019re essentially borrowing it from another program until we can raise funds to purchase a permanent solution. This rebuild is a mandatory maintenance event that has to be done every 12 years or 2,200 hours of flight time. This helicopter is getting almost every moving part replaced, new interior, new paint, new radios\u00a0and and an overhauled engine. <\/span><\/p>\n

It has been a great way for Brian to get intimately acquainted\u00a0with Robinson helicopters as a mechanic instead of as the pilot. We are hoping to have the rebuild finished soon so\u00a0that we can ship the helicopter to the Philippines this coming September.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There is a lot of work waiting for this little Robinson\u00a0helicopter\u00a0when it arrives in the Philippines and we\u2019re\u00a0eager to see how God will use it. We\u2019re so blessed to be part of a great team – churches, friends supporters, and co-workers who have the skills and know-how to make a rebuild like this look easy.
