All three kids went to their first day of school (ever) together. It was an exciting day for them and an emotional day for us on many levels!<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

CALIFORNIA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are back in California! We had an incredible time in Colorado with Bailey\u2019s family and we were so sad to say goodbye. Now we are here in California with more family and exciting things going. The biggest thing being that the kids have started GOING to school! Santa Maria has a public school that allows the kids to be in a classroom with other kids two days a week and homeschooled the other three days. It seemed to be the perfect way for the kids to have a healthy, American social outlet while not overwhelming them completely.  So far they have loved every minute of being in a \u201creal\u201d school for the first time. They have made some friends, and seem to be really thriving. This is a huge answer to prayer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve also enjoyed being near the beach, Brian\u2019s family, and our sending churches again. We have had some sweet times with all of them in the short month that we\u2019ve been back here and look forward to more over the next few months!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We went to the Cambria Christmas Market with family this year. Millions of lights!<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Star Wars dress up day at school! It’s fun to see the kids getting plugged in with their school activities and the other kids. We’re all going to have a hard time returning to our isolated home school environment in the Philippines after this!<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
