Being a part of global church planting all these years has come with some pretty significant celebrations. We\u2019ve moved missionaries into the jungle for the first time, delivering all of the materials to build and furnish their houses. We\u2019ve taken part in celebrating the first believers in a village. We\u2019ve witnessed elders being appointed for the first time, baptisms, and Bible dedications – truly amazing events to be a part of! We even call them the \u201chighlight reel\u201d for our lives. And they really are!\u00a0

This past Saturday, we were able to add another event to our \u201chighlight reel\u201d and it is, quite possibly, the best one yet. We celebrated our kids\u2019 faith in Jesus through their baptisms. \u00a0

It was a cold and rainy day, in a cold pool, in the middle of the desert, with our friends and co-workers. Our kids are 17, 15 and 13 and have all been following Jesus for quite some time now, but this was their public declaration and celebration of what Jesus has done for them.

There is no greater joy than seeing your own children choose to follow their Savior. We have seen God working in their lives and we look forward to seeing where He leads them in the years ahead.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
