{"id":97,"date":"2007-11-27T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2007-11-27T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2009-08-29T02:47:34","modified_gmt":"2009-08-29T06:47:34","slug":"baileys-november-and-december-recipes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/brian-pruett\/2007\/11\/27\/baileys-november-and-december-recipes\/","title":{"rendered":"Picante Cranberry Meatballs &amp; Wassail Christmas Drink"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--StartImportPhoto--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/brian-pruett\/files\/2007\/11\/2297_27811.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"margin-right: 10px;margin-bottom: 5px\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/brian-pruett\/files\/2007\/11\/2297_27811.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportPhoto--><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: mceinline\">Picante Cranberry Meatballs<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"boldText-blue\">Ingredients:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>2 eggs, lightly beaten<\/p>\n<p>1\/3 cup ketchup<\/p>\n<p>1\/3 cup minced fresh parsley<\/p>\n<p>2 Tbsp soy sauce<\/p>\n<p>2 Tbsp dried minced onion<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 tsp pepper<\/p>\n<p>1 cup crushed saltines (about 30 crackers)<\/p>\n<p>2 lbs lean ground beef<\/p>\n<p>1 16 oz can jellied cranberry sauce<\/p>\n<p>1 cup chili sauce<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup picante sauce<\/p>\n<p>2 Tbsp. brown sugar<\/p>\n<p>1 Tbsp lemon juice<\/p>\n<p><em>1. In a bowl, combine eggs, ketchup, parsley, soy sauce, onion, garlic powder and pepper.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>2. Add cracker crumbs.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>3. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>4. Shape into 1 &#8211; 1 1\/2 inch balls.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>5. In a skillet, brown meatballs over medium heat and transfer to a greased 9&#8242; x 13&#8242; baking dish.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>6. In a saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, chili sauce, picante sauce, brown sugar, and lemon juice.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>7. Cook and stir until cranberry sauce is melted and mixture is heated through.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>8. Pour over meatballs.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>9. Cover and bake at 350 degress for 30 &#8211; 35 minutes, until meat is no longer pink.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"boldText-blue\"><em>Serve over noodles.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"boldText-blue\"><span class=\"boldText-red\"><span style=\"font-family: mceinline\">Wassail Christmas Drink<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"boldText-blue\">Ingredients:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>2 qts cider<\/p>\n<p>1 can frozen lemonade<\/p>\n<p>1 can frozen orange juice<\/p>\n<p>2 cans pineapple juice<\/p>\n<p>1 stick cinnamon<\/p>\n<p>12 whole cloves<\/p>\n<p><em>1. Mix all ingredients together in saucepan<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>2. Simmer 15 minutes<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two in One!
