Helping in the Tribe

September 21, 2012 by Brian Schaadt

One thing I (Brian) enjoy as a pilot is going to each tribe we work with. Sometimes I can help the tribal missionaries with things they maybe don’t know how to do. Recently I had the opportunity to help one of our tribal workers update her old and non-functioning electrical system before she could return to the tribe. It took several flights to bring in the batteries, generator and other components that were in disrepair. Then several of us worked together installing and wiring the components to the solar power system.  She has been in the village now and is able to minister to the tribal people with one less thing to worry about.
