But stuff is just stuff, right? One thing that hurt us the most to leave was books. Children&#8217;s books in particular. A friend told me about a ministry called <a href=\"https:\/\/bookendsinternational.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">BookEnds International<\/a>\u00a0that sends books to overseas workers, so I looked into it right away. Well, we have been here for almost a year and the boys have all their books memorized, so it was very exciting when our first batch of new books arrived!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/brion-kendzora\/files\/2015\/05\/DSC4943.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-717\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/brion-kendzora\/files\/2015\/05\/DSC4943-300x198.jpg\" alt=\"_DSC4943\" width=\"300\" height=\"198\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/brion-kendzora\/files\/2015\/05\/DSC4943-300x198.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/brion-kendzora\/files\/2015\/05\/DSC4943-600x397.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When I first contacted BookEnds, they asked me to tell them about our boys and their interests. I picked out some of the books, but because Jeanne got to know our boys, she picked out most of them and she did an amazing job!\u00a0They even included books with Spanish in them as well to help the boys improve their Spanish. (And we got some sweet cassette tapes and a couple books for Brion and I.) Words cannot describe how wonderful this was for us.
