Here is what the church looked like on the inside. It was filled mostly with women. There were some men who where there whom represented song leaders, associate pastor, pastor, and elders of the church.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Here we are settling in for our first church service. We took our shoes off and found a comfortable spot on the floor.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Most of the people sat on the floor. It was nice for me, Shara, that I wore a long skirt because I could sit on my skirt and not right on the hay and dirt. One positive thing about wearing skirts!!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The church was small and cozy. \u00a0We had a nice breeze outside which came into the open widows all around us. \u00a0(We were wet from the river crossing which also kept us cool.) \u00a0The service itself was not really different than back home. \u00a0Music, prayer, speaking, offering, announcements, and welcoming the new comers. \u00a0It was long for the boys but they did a great job! \u00a0While the singing was going on I, Shara, spent a lot of time simply praying and asking the Lord to join my worship with theirs. \u00a0It was so very amazing to be worshiping the Lord together under this little grass roof. \u00a0Just amazing to think we were actually in PNG worshiping with brothers and sisters in Christ!<\/p>\n
