{"id":673,"date":"2013-01-23T19:32:25","date_gmt":"2013-01-24T00:32:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bryan-moritz\/?p=673"},"modified":"2013-01-23T19:32:25","modified_gmt":"2013-01-24T00:32:25","slug":"in-the-mountains","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/bryan-moritz\/2013\/01\/23\/in-the-mountains\/","title":{"rendered":"In the mountains!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Location Location Location! \u00a0It&#8217;s amazing, we are staying on a mountain ridge surrounded by other mountain ridges close by. \u00a0It&#8217;s very very beautiful. \u00a0When I get a chance to get a good picture of the landscape I will! \u00a0We are learning all the ways of tribal life. \u00a0We have to watch our batteries that charge by the sun carefully so we don&#8217;t run them down to low. \u00a0It is an amazing system here in the house. \u00a0It runs our 12volt power as well as 240v power if we need it. \u00a0This is how we have power in our house. \u00a0We have solar panels and tank that heat our hot water too. \u00a0In case we do not have enough consistant sun, there is also a generator here that we can use to charge up our batteries. \u00a0All our water we use in the house comes from the rain water that is collected into a big tank.<\/p>\n<p>We have enjoyed getting to know the veteran missionary couple who live next door to us. \u00a0They have worked with the people group here for a very very long time. \u00a0Shara and the boys are learning the ropes of homeschooling and if all goes well, they all get afternoon time out and about with the people. \u00a0Homeschooling has been going better each day, so we are thankful. Bryan is trying to spend time out with the people here as well. \u00a0Corbyn is so excited as he gets to take care of a young German Shepherd. \u00a0He can&#8217;t wait to play and feed her.<\/p>\n<p>We will continue to update you all as we go along. \u00a0Thanks for your prayers as we have plenty of weeks left here on top of this mountain ridge.
