We had the amazing privilege on August 26th to attend our first Bible dedication. \u00a0If you remember our first term here when we were finishing our language study we chose to do a bush orientation. \u00a0To live out in a tribal location for 6 weeks. \u00a0We spent our orientation in Dom! \u00a0When we heard that this tribe would be celebrating the dedication of the bible we just had to go! \u00a0We wanted to celebrate with our friends who welcomed us in their church, homes, and lives to help us learn language and culture!<\/p>\n

We joined a few other friends and hit the road! \u00a0These roads are not easy to drive so we as a group choose to split it in half and stay the night in another tribal location called the Kuman. \u00a0We took a break half way through for a few minutes and stopped at a coffee factory!<\/p>\n

Kongo Coffee! \u00a0What a nice stop. \u00a0Bathroom stop, coffee break, and a small tour of the factory!<\/p>\n

We stayed with our missionary co-workers in the Kuman tribe for two nights. \u00a0It was are first time seeing this location and it was great to walk around and learn more about the Kuman area! \u00a0This was the house we stayed in!<\/p>\n

This gives you a look at what a bush house looks like on the inside! The couple that live here are Shawna (in the top picture on the left), and Colton (In the bottom picture on the left). With their two boys!<\/p>\n

This picture above is a couple who came as\u00a0volunteer workers and served for two months. \u00a0The wife\u00a0was the most excited to go to this dedication. \u00a0In her testimony she shared that it was the word of God alone that opened her eyes to the Lord. \u00a0She was very excited for the people to now have God’s Word in their language because she knows that it can change lives!<\/p>\n

The day of the dedication we woke up early and began our drive down those glorious roads. \u00a0Here is a peek at some of them just so you can get a feel for what we are talking about!<\/p>\n
