Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!
We have some EXCITING news!!! God has built an AMAZING team of churches and individuals (all of YOU!) to work with us in seeing an indigenous church planted in Mexico!
We have been given the GREEN LIGHT from our mission agency to move to Mexico on February 4th!!
This means that we have over 75% of our recommended support. We are sitting at about 76% of our goal and are so thankful for the team members that God has brought behind us. We are continuing to trust God to raise up the remainder of our teammates. (If you haven’t joined our team financially but are interested in doing so click the following link https://ethnos360.org/missionaries/caleb-and-emily-arnold)
Almost 1 year ago to the day we moved to Washington trusting God to build up this ministry team in order to see the Gospel continue to spread in Mexico and can hardly believe in less than a month we will be packed and on our way down! We are so humbled and blown away by this!
This year was full of lots of hard work on the farm, hard work traveling and sharing different places, and a new child added to our family (Cohen was born). It was also filled with amazing fun times with friends and family alike. We would not have changed anything that the Lord brought into our lives this year. We are so thankful and cherish each memory we have with family and friends.
Thank you ALL So much for you prayers and support. We are continually blown away by God’s provision! The task of seeing an unreached people group in Mexico have a thriving church is not a single person’s job, it is the job of the Church, and it is exciting to see so many churches and individuals are participating in what God has called the Church to do as a whole. (Matt. 28:19-20)
We are enjoying our last month with our friends and family here in Washington. It will be very challenging to say goodbye to the life we have had for the last year, but we know this is what God has for us. We plan to leave Washington on February 4th and begin the journey south. We will be in El Paso, TX for about a week getting paperwork and visas all lined out and then we have the opportunity to share with a church in Arizona. We are excited to have the opportunity to share with one last church before we cross the boarder.
Praises and prayer requests:
- Praise God that He raised up this team and we got the “green light”!
- Praise Him for all of YOU!
- Ask that paper work and visas would come together
- For travel safety
- For a smooth transition for us and the kids, that we’d leave well
- and that our family and friends here would also transition well (we know it can be even harder for the ones who stay than the ones who go)
