Thank you all so much for your prayers and support during these interesting days. We were so blessed by a visit from my mom, Starr, the past week. It was so good to see her and enjoy a change of pace. We took a quick trip to El Paso, TX to take her back to the airport and it was also nice to be in our home country, although it’s a little different from when we were there last. We also had to renew visas for Emily and the kids. It went relatively smooth for being such a crazy time with COVID and everything. Emily did the car paperwork all by herself while I played with the kids outside. She did awesome!
Now that we are back in Chihuahua we are going to keep plugging away with Spanish. But we are so excited that we have 3 new missionary families and a single man here now to walk with through this season. We would love your prayers for these new units as they transition to life in Mexico.
A bible study with our Spanish language helpers is in the works and we are so excited to be able to participate in something like this! We’d love your prayer for the logistics to work out and that we’d all be able to encourage each other in the Lord. They are both strong believers and we don’t know what we would do without their friendship. Churches here have not opened back up and it is looking like they aren’t going to be able to until August, September…who knows. We were only able to enjoy 2 weeks of church before the lock-down hit in March. So, we, as well as our Mexican friends, are so ready to jump onto the Word together and enjoy time together with the Lord.
We pray for you, each of your individual needs is important and we lift them to the Lord with you! Please let us know how we can be praying for you specifically.
With love and prayers,
Caleb, Emily, Dezi, and Cohen Arnold
