3 weeks ago we went to the doctor for our first check-up… “First check-up of what?” you might ask. Our first check up on the new BABY!! But, when we saw the ultrasound, we were shocked and thrilled to discover not one baby but TWO!! They both are healthy and growing as they should, each having their own placenta. We feel double the excitement and double the anticipation for their arrival in early April/late March (depending on when they decide to come)!
Given the uniqueness of this pregnancy, we decided to go back home to Washington to have them. We talked with my midwife about the situation and it was recommended that we return to Washington at the beginning of the third trimester—which would put us in the middle of December. We plan to return to Mexico when the wave of transition has passed and everyone is in a place where we can safely move as a young family again!
We would appreciate prayers!
- Traveling up to Washington in the middle of December
- Transitioning to a family with DOUBLE the children overnight and special prayers for the other older two because it might be a little crazy for them to have two more little siblings all of a sudden
- Healthy babies
- Smooth delivery, no complications for them or me
Thank you all so much! We have just been laughing at how we think we have things all planned out…and then God shows us that actually He has a plan that is better than ours! We pray for you all and praise God for you!
