Thank you all for your prayers and support!
We find ourselves eagerly waiting the arrival of our girls! This pregnancy has felt the longest and has had the most trials, BUT, the girls are growing very well and they both are in the optimal position for a natural birth (we are praising the Lord for this!) We have about a month (+/-) left to go and will post on our Facebook group page (Prayer Team – Caleb and Emily Arnold (request to join if you aren’t a part of it already!)) when I, Emily, go into labor and would cherish your prayers during that time.
We have had the opportunity to share at our home church giving an update about our time in Mexico and also at another church in Walla Walla. I had the opportunity to share in a Latino church as well and it was fun to use the Spanish that we have worked so hard to acquire.
I (Caleb) have been able to help on the farm and my brother-in-law makes some cool YouTube videos of farm life if you want to check them out. I am in a couple of the recent ones.
We cherish your prayers as we face the last and hardest part of the pregnancy. I, Emily, am pretty uncomfortable and in a lot of pain most of the day and night. We joke and laugh about what Paul says in 2 Corinthians 4:12 “so death works in [me] but life in [them].” (Sometimes it truly feels like my body is dying!) The end is near though and we remind ourselves constantly to live one day at a time and not get too caught up in the future (that tends to sew seeds of discouragement in our hearts as we start longing for this season of waiting to be over.)
We hope in a month or so we will be introducing you to our sweet daughters!
Love, prayers and thanks,
Caleb and Emily Arnold
Patience is so difficult when feeling poorly! Praying everyone remains healthy and safe! Do email when Emily begins labor, but praying already!
