Our original plan was to arrive in Senegal this coming January, however, as you already know things with our foster son changed and that goal was no longer feasible, but….
We excited to share that we’ve been in communication with NTM in West Africa and they’ve given us permission to arrive in Senegal in April 2015!!!! It’s so nice to have a date to plan for, and we’re starting to tackle some of the things on our to-do list that we need to do before going, like sorting, pairing down our possessions, paper work etc…
We’d appreciate prayer, as everything with Little Dude needs to be wrapped up in time, which it looks like it should be, but we’ll know for sure when everything is final. Also pray for us to be diligent to do the things we need to, to prepare for this big move.
Here’s what our new plan of action looks like:
December – Cameron will finish the classroom part of the linguistics program.
January-March – Cameron will be doing the practical training part of the linguistics program working with Cherokee in Oklahoma.
March-April – Traveling to visit supporters and family before leaving.
April – FLY TO SENEGAL!!!
