PART 3
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4
We take a break from French class around 3:30pm. It is another good time of fellowship, and it is all in French (and Wolof…and Guinea-Bissau Creole…). Each week we are able to understand more and more and even enter into the conversation.
Back to class!
Class ends around 5:30pm. We say goodbye to everyone and begin our evening tasks.
Listening to the recordings we made during class. A big part of what we do right now is just listening. We listen in class, we listen again…again. People have called it “listening furiously”.
Sometimes we have to travel further than our local neighborhood. Usually for meetings down at the NTM office. Thankfully, we have a lot of options for travel here in the big city…
By foot! (We try not to do this for long distances, especially with the whole family.)
