It’s been a long time since I posted here, but it sure isn’t for lack of things to say! I’m hoping to spend some time the next couple of days to get some posts drafted up to update everyone with all the exciting things that have been going on here, but first things first…
In July Cameron had a language evaluation that showed he had hit capable-high in French!! Capable-high is the level our mission has asked us to reach, so that means that he’s done with formal French study!
We want to thank each and everyone of you who has been a part of accomplishing this step. In a race, it’s only the runner that can actually run, but he does it with the help of coaches training him before hand, people giving him drinks and energizing snacks along the path and crowds of people encouraging and cheering him on. It’s like that with language study too, Cameron was the one who learned French but there were language helpers, language consultants, prayer warriors and encouragers along the way who also made it possible. Thank you to each one of you who has played a part in helping Cameron accomplish this step!
Now we would ask that you pray for me, Katy, as I finish up French too. I’m in the last phase of the program.
Keep your eye out for more updates on the literacy conference, my family’s visit to Senegal, our trip to a village and much more!
