So far, our journey of Partnership Development (building up a strong team of both prayer partners and monthly financial supporters) has been WAY different than we ever imagined it would be – and we are only 3 months in! First of all, we never thought that we would be getting ready to pack up our belongings for the 3rd time in 3 short months. If we were honest, we would tell you we prayed for a permanent place to live during this time. However, for some reason, the Lord saw it fit to move us around. I guess He knew our limits and what we could handle better than we did. As challenging as moving around can be, it has also come with the BIGGEST blessings. Some of these blessings include getting to know those we have stayed with, watching God provide for our every need, sharing with different people about the ministry He has called our family to in Southeast Africa and learning to trust Him more and more!
This time we are getting ready to travel to Morehead City, North Carolina! This is where Chandler’s mom lives and also where one of our supporting churches is – Parkview Baptist Church. We feel super blessed to have been invited to be a part of their first missions conference. We plan on staying in the area for the month of April so that we can meet with friends and family to discuss opportunities for partnering with our family as we move to Southeast Africa. This should be an exciting time!
We have been busy getting ready. We just ordered NEW prayer cards, as our prayer card from last year became quickly outdated with the birth of little Gideon. We also ordered prayer pens with our contact info on them and a new banner for our display table. Chandler and I are beginning to prepare what we will share at the conference and we are also doing lots of praying!!!
Here is a sneak preview of the picture we are using for our prayer card. We are so thankful for our friend Jordan who took this for us!
We feel privileged to be on this journey of Reaching Tribes and seeing Lives Transformed by the power of the Gospel! Thanks for coming along.
Making Him Known,
