Praise the Lord for His provision.\u00a0 Because of a generous gift of a friend our bill to the Missionary Training Center is down to $725 from $1,625.\u00a0 When that number hits zero we can begin the paperwork process of getting to Papua New Guinea.\u00a0\u00a0 Thank you all for all your prayers and your gifts.\u00a0 The Lord is using you to bless our lives and to reach people of PNG with the good news of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n
The last 2+ weeks were spent with family for the holidays.\u00a0 We snowmobiled, four-wheeled, sledded, saw Sesame Street Live, watched The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, played board games and card games, went swimming, ate, ate, and ate.\u00a0 It was a wonderful time that we enjoyed immensely and treasured more so than any other year as we hope to be in Papua New Guinea by next Christmas.<\/p>\n
Now we are back home in Waconia continuing the journey of seeking prayer and financial partners.\u00a0 We kicked off a new year of small group Monday the 3rd and we’re going through Francis Chan’s Basic Series.\u00a0 It was a fun time of fellowship, food, and learning as we discussed what it means to fear God.\u00a0 Tonight is AWANA, where Micah and Cole frolic through Cubbies, Maggie chases Maisie around and lends a listening ear to verse sayers, and Chris leads the Truth and Training red team.\u00a0 Next week we will be sharing about our calling to PNG during Counsel Time with the Sparkies and TNT’ers, about 70 kids.<\/p>\n
Sunday the 16th we will be sharing for 15 minutes the ministry God has called us to with Little Falls Alliance Church.\u00a0 We would appreciate your continued prayers as we continue to talk with people.\u00a0 Be praying for our finances, but more importantly, pray that what we share would draw people to Him.\u00a0 Nothing is more important in this world than our relationship with Him.<\/p>\n
