It is our goal to be on our way to Papua New Guinea July 31.\u00a0 There are many peoples in PNG living in darkness and God has called us to take the good news of Jesus Christ into the darkness.\u00a0 We are trusting that God will provide what we need and have us on a plane less than 6 months from now.\u00a0 It is a big task, but we have an even bigger God.<\/p>\n
The numbers we have received from New Tribes’ PNG Leadership put us at needing an additional $5,500 in monthly support to reach 100% by July 31.\u00a0 100% support = $7,000+\/month and our current support (not that you can’t do the math by yourself) is approximately $1,500\/month.<\/p>\n
100% support covers all our living expenses plus many other things like tithing, paying taxes (we’re considered self-employed clergy), saving for kids for college, retirement, vacations, medical emergencies, flying home for furlough, ministry expenses (printing teaching materials, Bible translation materials, etc.), and so much more.<\/p>\n
With that being said, 100% is our goal, but 60% is what we need to be able to begin the ministry God has called us to.\u00a0 Below I will show you how we can reach 100% support with only 55 new supporters.\u00a0 Pray and see if God would have you be one of those 55!<\/p>\n
If we had 20 new supporters that gave $50\/month that would be $1,000 in new support.<\/p>\n
If there were 25 other new supporters that committed to giving $100\/month that would be another $2,500 in new support.<\/p>\n
And if we had 10 new supporters that gave $200\/month that would be an additional $2,000 in new support.<\/p>\n
