Happy Easter!\u00a0 This is the reason we have life.\u00a0\u00a0 This is the reason we’re leaving everything we know and everyone we love to go to Papua New Guinea.\u00a0 Because of what He has done for us, how could we do anything but serve Him?\u00a0 This world has so many things that steal our attention, but focusing on anything other than Christ alone is to lose our purpose here.\u00a0\u00a0 If your life needs a re-focus, Easter is a great opportunity to remember what Christ has done for you and to rededicate your life to Him.<\/p>\n
Things have been a little crazy lately and just might continue that way for a while, but all in all we are doing well and finding joy in all of God’s blessings.\u00a0 In the past week, Micah broke his arm, Maggie got sick, Maggie put on a baby shower for her sister, we had three speaking engagements, and Maisie is being potty trained.\u00a0 We’re looking forward to Easter weekend and just taking it easy for a few days while we hang with family.<\/p>\n
Today we received the next round of paperwork from New Tribes’ secretary in Papua New Guinea and so we have a lot of things to fill out and mail in order to receive our work permits and entry visas.\u00a0 This is the biggest-longest step in the paperwork process of moving to Papua New Guinea and hopefully we’ll conquer this step in the next couple weeks.<\/p>\n
