{"id":65,"date":"2009-11-11T11:35:32","date_gmt":"2009-11-11T15:35:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chris-hostetter\/?p=65"},"modified":"2009-11-11T11:35:32","modified_gmt":"2009-11-11T15:35:32","slug":"november-09","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chris-hostetter\/2009\/11\/11\/november-09\/","title":{"rendered":"November 09"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>First off, if you haven&#8217;t heard the good news, Maggie&#8217;s stent removal procedure cost us nothing.\u00a0 Maggie&#8217;s doctor told her they weren&#8217;t charging us anything.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/p>\n<p>Anyways, its November now and the holidays are nearing (woohoo).\u00a0 The weather has actually warmed up (been way nicer than October) and we are enjoying not experiencing Minnesota&#8217;s winter weather.\u00a0 Maggie&#8217;s brother Mitch, and his fiance Jackie, came and visited in October and we enjoyed our time with them.\u00a0 This month Maggie&#8217;s sister and mother will be visiting for a few days.\u00a0 We&#8217;re looking forward to them coming.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In class we&#8217;ve been studying translation and church planting phases.\u00a0 Maggie is still involved with the Potter&#8217;s House Youth Group and has been enjoying that and has been a blessing to the highschool girls she meets with.\u00a0 Chris is co-leading the New Tribes team that volunteers at Young Life in Camdenton.\u00a0 We have a great team and have been working well with the Young Life director and with the community&#8217;s volunteers.\u00a0 One problem though; we&#8217;re having only about half the kids coming to Young Life that we had during last school year.\u00a0\u00a0 The director and many of the leaders are discouraged because of this.\u00a0 We&#8217;d appreciate your prayers in this matter.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll be heading to Minnesota about a week before Christmas and we&#8217;ll spend a month there before returning to Missouri for one last semester of training.\u00a0 After training we will be moving back to Minnesota for partnership development.\u00a0 Partnership development is us establishing relationships with people who will be prayer partners and financial partners with us.\u00a0 It is through peoples monthly giving that we will be able to go to Papua New Guinea and be missionaries there.\u00a0 We hope to be able to head to Papua New Guinea by spring or summer of 2011.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>First off, if you haven&#8217;t heard the good news, Maggie&#8217;s stent removal procedure cost us nothing.\u00a0 Maggie&#8217;s doctor told her they weren&#8217;t charging us anything.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!
