{"id":9,"date":"2008-09-19T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2008-09-19T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2008-09-19T15:24:04","modified_gmt":"2008-09-19T19:24:04","slug":"field-fair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chris-hostetter\/2008\/09\/19\/field-fair\/","title":{"rendered":"Field Fair"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The past two days here at the Missions Training Center was the field fair.&nbsp; Representatives from many of New Tribes Mission&#8217;s fields came to the campus and shared information, stories, and needs from their fields.&nbsp; It was a great time of fellowship, of hearing entertaining and powerful stories (some which I hope to eventually share with you) and of looking at where we might be going.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As of right now, we have no clue of what part of the world we&#8217;ll be going after finishing the training.&nbsp; We originally were interested in&nbsp;central Asia&nbsp;but no longer.&nbsp; NTM is not starting any new works in&nbsp;central Asia&nbsp;as they&#8217;re working on finishing existing works and then phasing out.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Maggie and I are interested in being part of a new work going to a new tribe and doing church planting.&nbsp; We could do this in Mexico, all over South America, Africa, Papau New Guinea, Philippines, and others.&nbsp; The needs are great in all these areas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>All these areas, and more, have needs for Church planters, but they also need people with &#8216;real&#8217; skills.&nbsp; They need teachers, mechanics, administrators, business people, dorm parents, pilots, and so much more.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pray for us as we decide on a field in the next year.<\/p>\n<p>Pray that God would raise up people to fill all the needs in the many different countries NTM is in.<\/p>\n<p>Pray and see if God would use you to fill a need.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Where should we go?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_genesis_hide_title":false,"_genesis_hide_breadcrumbs":false,"_genesis_hide_singular_image":false,"_genesis_hide_footer_widgets":false,"_genesis_custom_body_class":"","_genesis_custom_post_class":"","_genesis_layout":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[],"tags":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-9","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","6":"entry"},"aioseo_notices":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chris-hostetter\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/9","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chris-hostetter\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chris-hostetter\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chris-hostetter\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=9"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chris-hostetter\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/9\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chris-hostetter\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=9"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chris-hostetter\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=9"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chris-hostetter\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=9"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
