It’s almost our 1st anniversary.

August 1, 2006 by chris_jones

So, it is almost our anniversary, and we are totally stoked! the end of our first year together… not like it has sucked or anything… actually, quite the contrary, however… we are really really looking forward to our SECOND year together, and that so much so that we cannot wait for the first to end! So that is the sixth.. and we are planning on posting out wedding music video up here…. special thanks goes out to “cousin reggie” for doin’ it up for us videographer style at our wedding thang a year ago.
Thank you cards from that momentous day 360 days ago are coming out to all of you who were soo kind to us in sending a gift, and/or sending your prayers… we both truly are blessed, and we appreciate so much the little things we are given.
I started up my company thing… black design… i will be posting the link on this page soon, and i will be advertising more and more, as cheaply as possible… if you need any web work done, check out treschicmedia.com super cool fella out there doin that action up… and if you get too bored, and that guy is busy studying language, check out my stuff, an maybe i could get some work done for ya for cheap @ designforafuture.com.
We are getting ready, also, for the big move out to indiana… some prospective apartments and things are already popping up, we are just being so blessed financially, and by the giving of you people, our support community, thank you guys for your prayers, and your support. please, if you will, be in prayer about a car for us.. we don’t have much money, and we may need a car for our trip… hopefully our car that we have now will make it… we are going to a car auction on saturday… and maybe we will be able to pick up a great deal, that is likely all we will be able to afford.
Some missions news… at cornerstone, Evelyn and I have had word from the powers that be at cornerstone that we will be considered “missionaries” and be sent by our home church and supported by our home church as soon as a missions director comes on staff. They are currently looking for a good hire, and are looking forward to expanding the horizons on the global challenge ministry of cornerstone. Huge answer to prayer there… very thankful for that.
I again… apologize for maybe making these blog entries boring… it just really is difficult to keep these updated… we are really busy making money to save, and the news? we have approximately $3,000 in our bank account right now, waiting for someone to steal. I have been having bank issues, however, which is another story altogether… which will hopefully be resolved tomorrow, if you would really like to know the long story, leave a comment, and i will write a post on it. rather humerous and frustrating, but either way, an expensive story. The moral of which is… never sign up for auto withdraw bill pay… you get raped every time… and stay away from fifth third bank if you are in the midwest… not too fun.
So we look like we’re good for our trip to indiana… about 200$ in gasoline, by my estimate, and about 1500$ for first month’s rent/deposit (worst case scenario)- we are going to get a good tune up, for the trip, don’t want any trouble… looking to spend $200 topps, and hopefully, everything else works out. i hate seeing all this money go away after we worked so hard to get it, but i guess we all better get used to it, eh? part of growing up! wait till we have kids!!! anyways… thanks for keeping up with us… we really appreciate your thoughts and prayers, and support.
