A while back, I had the pleasure of going strawberry picking with some great friends of mine! This was a first for me, and I went intending to enjoy a good time and picking tons of strawberries (for future canning!). It was so great to chat with the ladies, and laugh at the kids throwing strawberries everywhere. Our friend Robyn’s little girl, Abby, was basically bathed in pink by the end of the picking! The entire time, I was imagining the possibility of actually doing this very thing with women of a tribal group some day. Chatting, working in gardens, laughing at the children, and just building relationships (and my understanding of their language). And all this so they may someday learn of the perfect Creator and His Son, Christ (whom they can have an amazing relationship with!). I love that we have a God who created relationships – because that is really, for me, what makes life worth living. First with Him and then with the beautifully diverse world!
