We arrived in the Philippines in 2005 and first served as supply buyers for Northern Luzon.\u00a0 About a year later we moved to Manila and began Tagalog language and culture study.\u00a0 As we were nearing the end of language study we began to seek the Lord as to where He would have us serve.\u00a0 The Lord then lead us to the Ga’dang people of Northern Luzon.<\/p>\n

We moved into our village in August 2010. \u00a0Chuck began full time Tribal Language and Culture Study in January 2011.\u00a0 This means spending 8-10 hrs a day either with the Ga’dang people or reviewing what we have been learning at home.<\/p>\n

Chuck completed formal language and culture study in August 2015 and is now beginning to prepare the Chronological Bible lessons. \u00a0After that is complete we will begin teaching the Ga’dang people about God and how He sent His Son to die for them. \u00a0We are also trusting the Lord to begin teaching in late 2017. \u00a0We look forward to this day very much.<\/p>\n

Eli is 19 years old\u00a0and is attending NTBI in Jackson, MI.<\/p>\n

\"Hala<\/a>
Hala loves art and creating anything crafty.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Hala is 18 yrs old and loves spending time with her baby sister, Bea.<\/p>\n

\"Kyle<\/a>
Kyle continues to like being outside and recently took up golfing.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Kyle is 16 years old. \u00a0He loves to joke around and make us all laugh.<\/p>\n

\"Reading<\/a>
Reading books and listening to music keeps Charlotte happy.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Charlotte loves to read and wants to be an author some day. \u00a0She is now 14 years old.<\/p>\n

\"Sophia<\/a>
Sophia enjoys being the big sister leading her younger sisters.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Sophia is an energetic force in our house! \u00a0She loves to take control and get what she’s after! \u00a0She loves to read also. \u00a0She’s 9 years old now.<\/p>\n

\"Jenna<\/a>
Jenna is our smiley, loving little girl.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Jenna is our sweet red-head! \u00a0She is very sensitive but also has a stubborn streak in her! \u00a0She is very smart and can read now. \u00a0She will be 7 years old in April.<\/p>\n

\"Beatrice<\/a>
Beatrice is our baby girl who keeps us all busy.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Beatrice is our baby girl. \u00a0She is no longer a red head but we think there are red roots! \u00a0She is now 4 years old.<\/p>\n

Our kids are homeschooled by many different people in the last 10 years. \u00a0We have had 5 young ladies teach our kids at home in the past along with Mom when no one else was here to teach them. \u00a0We look forward to whomever the Lord brings along to help teach our kids in the future.<\/p>\n

We celebrated our 20th Anniversary in 2015.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

We thank the Lord for 21 years of marriage and our wonderful 7 children. \u00a0We are blessed to be able to work together everyday as we seek to see the Ga’dang reached with the Gospel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
