{"id":1312,"date":"2018-12-11T19:03:31","date_gmt":"2018-12-11T11:03:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/?p=1312"},"modified":"2018-12-11T21:18:24","modified_gmt":"2018-12-11T13:18:24","slug":"open-tabs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/2018\/12\/11\/open-tabs\/","title":{"rendered":"Open Tabs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1314\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/files\/2018\/12\/Book-pic-1-300x75.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"75\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/files\/2018\/12\/Book-pic-1-300x75.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/files\/2018\/12\/Book-pic-1-768x192.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/files\/2018\/12\/Book-pic-1-600x150.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/files\/2018\/12\/Book-pic-1-125x31.jpg 125w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/files\/2018\/12\/Book-pic-1-250x63.jpg 250w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/files\/2018\/12\/Book-pic-1-450x113.jpg 450w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/files\/2018\/12\/Book-pic-1-1920x480.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Does your brain ever feel like there is so much going on that you have a hard time keeping things straight?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>How about keeping the worry at bay when it\u2019s so busy?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>My brain has felt like a computer screen with many browser windows open or a book with many bookmarks.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>The above picture is my cookbook with recipes marked that I want to try but I\u2019m finding it hard to find time to try them all.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>There just isn\u2019t enough days, energy or brain power to do it all.<\/p>\n<p>When I went to bed last night I couldn\u2019t seem to close the browser windows.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I wanted to try all the recipes in my head so I could remove the tabs and say &#8220;done&#8221;.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>But they just wouldn\u2019t go.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I have found myself in prayer a lot lately and again that is where I ended up last night as I fell asleep.<\/p>\n<p>As hard as these days have been I feel that God is asking me to draw close to Him.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>To seek Him through His Word and to talk to Him about all that is on my heart.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I am thankful for the comfort I can find in Him during these times.<\/p>\n<h4>\u201cAll praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others.\u201d 2 Corinthians 2:3-4<\/h4>\n<p>Would you bring the many tabs I have open in my brain before the Lord with me?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Erick and his recovery from his accident including surgery to remove part of his skull to relieve pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Chuck\u2019s lesson writing.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>He has had very little time with the 3 people that work with him on the Bible lessons as they are wife, brother and sister-in-law to Erick.<\/li>\n<li>Chuck to finish writing the 40 Bible lessons he has planned by Christmas.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>35 down only 5 to go.<\/li>\n<li>Papon, a 20 yr old young man from our village with ongoing kidney issues.<\/li>\n<li>Rain. \u00a0We have had very little rain over the last 3 months. \u00a0With an El Nino about to begin the lack of rain is supposed to persist until May. \u00a0We don&#8217;t think our village water source will last that long.<\/li>\n<li>Tourist Visa extensions. \u00a0How long to extend our stay?
