{"id":373,"date":"2010-09-20T09:53:25","date_gmt":"2010-09-20T01:53:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/2010\/09\/20\/rain-running-water-hot-showers\/"},"modified":"2010-09-20T09:53:25","modified_gmt":"2010-09-20T01:53:25","slug":"rain-running-water-hot-showers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/2010\/09\/20\/rain-running-water-hot-showers\/","title":{"rendered":"Rain = running water = hot showers!!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/files\/2010\/09\/100_0524.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right-width: 0px;float: none;border-top-width: 0px;border-bottom-width: 0px;margin-left: auto;border-left-width: 0px;margin-right: auto\" border=\"0\" alt=\"100_0524\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/files\/2010\/09\/100_0524_thumb.jpg\" width=\"364\" height=\"484\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Last weekend our good missionary friend Bob came in to finish the plumbing in our house.&#160; We had sewage pipes already but no water pipes.<\/p>\n<p>In the process of getting things ready for Bob, an important fitting for our water holding tank was cracked.&#160; Thus the tank had to be emptied in order to fix it.<\/p>\n<p>Over the weekend all the plumbing was finished and the fitting was fixed but we had no water to test the system.&#160; The night before Bob left we decided it would be best to pray for the rain to wait till Bob left.&#160; No one likes a muddy hike.&#160; The Lord answered our prayers and it didn\u2019t rain.&#160; Bob made it out with no trouble and little mud.<\/p>\n<p>That Monday afternoon we added \u201cRAIN\u201d to our to-do list.&#160; A few hours later we had a light rain.&#160; We joked with Christina that we need to be more specific in what we need to do.&#160; So we added \u201cHEAVY\u201d to our \u201crain\u201d to do.&#160; Within a couple more hours it started to pour!!!<\/p>\n<p>In just 55 minutes this barrel was full and over flowing!!!<\/p>\n<p>That made one more thing to stroke off the to do list.<\/p>\n<p>That night I had my first hot shower in our house!!!&#160; It was so nice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last weekend our good missionary friend Bob came in to finish the plumbing in our house.&#160; We had sewage pipes already but no water pipes.
