{"id":736,"date":"2012-06-01T16:45:44","date_gmt":"2012-06-01T20:45:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/?p=736"},"modified":"2012-06-01T16:45:45","modified_gmt":"2012-06-01T20:45:45","slug":"things-i-like-about-canada-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/2012\/06\/01\/things-i-like-about-canada-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Things I like about canada-#1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A friend of mine has been writing about the things she likes about the Philippines.&nbsp; That got me to thinking about writing about the things that I like about Canada.<\/p>\n<p>One of the things that is hard while in the Philippines, is the lack of grass and playgrounds.&nbsp; Even while in the village, surrounded by trees, we don\u2019t have much grass to play in, just mud!&nbsp; While we are in town we wish we could just go to a playground and let the kids play.&nbsp; But the number of playgrounds is rather limited.<\/p>\n<p>We are very thankful for a yard for the kids to play in everyday we are in Canada.&nbsp; We have also had the privilege of being close to playgrounds while visiting my mom and most recently while staying at Hope Valley Day Camp.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/files\/2012\/06\/101_3654.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" alt=\"101_3654\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/chuck-shannon-talbot\/files\/2012\/06\/101_3654_thumb.jpg\" width=\"644\" height=\"484\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A friend of mine has been writing about the things she likes about the Philippines.&nbsp; That got me to thinking about writing about the things that I like about Canada.
