It’s hard to believe that it has been six years since we have started this journey to get to the point we are at right now. Six years ago my wife, whom I didn’t really know at the time, was sitting next to me at Hume Lake Christian Camps at a early morning worship chapel. We had been challenged all week to follow God and what He has for us no matter the cost and now we were being challenged with that very thing.
A missionary by the name of Brad Buser came up to speak after the worship chapel we attended and immediately we felt the challenge to missions. For the first time I realized that there were people unreached by the gospel and we knew we had to go. We both went up to get the application for the Bible College and the next week we started dating.
After two years of Bible College, a year and a half of Missionary Training and eight months of linguistics, we had finally finished our training! We are just finishing up our support raising and we have been blown away by God’s faithfulness and grace in our lives.
Now we are moving on to the next step. We are at our 75% of our recommended support level and we finally bought our plane tickets! We are so excited to see what God will do next!!
