We officially have one month left in the states!! We are super excited and the same time very stressed.
Right now we are packing all of our tribal house items to crate up and ship to a Courier then to PNG. We are logging all of our items, the cost of each item, and what box we have them in for customs and it is a very lengthy process!
We are also in the process of figuring out which Malaria medicine would be best for our family. We have to be on it for two weeks before we go, so we have two weeks to decide. Please be praying for wisdom as we choose what to do for our family.
Through it all, we have been reminded of an old familiar verse; Proverbs 3:5,6 ” Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.”
It is so easy to trust in what WE think is the best to bring to the field, or what WE think we should do for malaria, but we have come to a point that in all things that we are doing, we are trusting Him with and relying on His understanding. After all, God knows us better than we know ourselves!
We know that in the end, God will direct our steps as we head to Papua New Guinea, and because of that, we can have the peace that passes all understanding.
