Psalm 27:14 Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!
Dear Faithful Prayer Partners.
Hope all is well with you all. Things here on our end are good. We are thankful for God’s provision through the body. It is so cool that God knows our every need even before we ask for it. We want to thank you all for praying and for you financial support. It is because of your willing hearts that God uses you to help meet the needs of his people for His Glory.
We are excited to announce that another individual has joined our financial support team. So with this new partner that brings us up to 34%. We are praising the Lord for even this 1% increase. We serve an awesome God and He deserves the GLORY for even 1%. Please continue to pray with us as we wait on the Lord for our support level to increase.
How would you like to be part of something bigger than yourself? We are looking for team members to join our financial support team. We cannot reach the people of Paraguay alone, it takes a whole team; people who are on the field and back home praying and giving. Would you please prayerfully consider how the Lord of the Harvest may have you join in laboring for souls?
Paraguay Night at PBC
On Sunday the 19th, we had the opportunity to host a Paraguay night with Peoples Baptist Church, our home church. We had the opportunity to give an update on where we are at with our percentage level and share a little from God’s word about the Harvest of Souls. We were so encouraged by the amount of people who came and we enjoyed our time of Paraguayan food and fellowship.
News from Paraguay – Pai Prayers Answered
A Pai Tavy Tera Church has a new brick building to meet in, and a group of Paraguayan youths got a closer look at church planting among remote people groups. The Pai believers had been praying for a brick building for years, and putting aside money from their weekly offerings, but were still far short of what they would need. “After discussing the need with a Paraguayan Christian businessman, Mike Goddard launched out by faith with the project,” wrote Mike and his wife, Trisha. “The Lord supplied $5,065 toward the building materials and 16 volunteers to get the majority of the project finished in a three-week period.” The Pai believers helped with construction, and stepped in to finish up after the short-term team left. Thank God for His provision for the Pai church. Pray that the young people who went to help will grow in their understanding of God’s work among unreached people groups and in their desire to serve Him. ~Ian Fallis
It has been a while since we have put anything about the kids in our newsletter so we thought we would update you on them. Malachi has been busy homeschooling for 1st grade and just lost his first tooth. We cannot believe that he is that old. Noah has also been homeschooling; he is in pre-k and really enjoys it. He just turned 5 right after Christmas, my how time flies. Gideon just turned 4 and still wishes that every day was his birthday. Jehiah has grown quite a bit and has become very independent for a 2 year old. They are looking forward to leaving for Paraguay and ask almost daily if it is time to leave yet.
We want to thank you so much for taking the time to read our updates and for PRAYING for us. It encourages our hearts to know that you are bringing us before the Lord.
Serving the KING together,
Colton, Tanja, Malachi, Noah, Gideon, and Jehiah Twigg
