Matthew 28:6 He is not here, for He has risen, as He said. Come; see the place where He lay.
Dear Faithful Prayer Partners,
What a month it has been. The Lord has blessed us so much. We want to thank all of you for your love, prayers and financial support. We are grateful to have you all part of our team. We are so excited to share with you all some things that the Lord has been doing and glad that you will be praising the Lord with us.
This past month the Lord gave us the opportunity to share at two churches. We would also like to share that the Lord has provided three new financial partners for us. We are praising the Lord for Tanja’s home Church, Munising Baptist Church, in Munising Michigan for coming on board with us, Candor Congregational Church for coming on board, and also an individual. Because of this, it has jumped our support from 49% to 54%. That means that there is 16% ($857.00) left to go before we can leave for the field. We would like to leave in September, so we are asking you to pray that the Lord would supply this fairly quickly. Would you like to be part of something bigger than yourself? We invite you to partner with us to Reach Paraguayans for Christ.
This year we spent Resurrection Sunday with our home church, Peoples Baptist Church, and our family. It was a great day of Celebrating of Christ’s rising again. We are so thankful for Christ taking our place on that cross so that we can have a personal relationship with Him and Eternal life. The kids enjoyed an Easter egg hunt and the time they had spending with their cousins.
NEWS FROM PARAGUAY
A Successful Visit
NTM missionaries are evaluating whether to begin translation among the Guarani Nandeva people. A group of NTM missionaries, including Bryson White, recently visited several Guarani Nandeva communities. Francisco, a Guarani Nandeva believer, was their guide. “It was good to see the need up close and the urgency it entails,” Bryson wrote. “Without God’s Word, people are hopelessly lost.” One of the most important questions is whether the Guarani Nandeva language is being lost. If the language is well on its way to being lost, the people are most likely better reached by missionaries working in Spanish and Guarani, the two principle languages of the country. But if it is being maintained, missionaries would learn the culture and language, and help preserve both by developing a written form of the language in the process of translating the Scriptures among the Guarani Nandeva people. Please pray for wisdom for the NTM’s leaders and the missionaries who are evaluating the information gathered, discussing options and seeking God’s will about ministry among the Guarani Nandeva people.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read our Updates and for Praying for us!
