Cheyenne’s 1st day of school

September 3, 2006 by Craig and Cheryl Cassel

Say CheezeOn Wednesday, August 30th Cheyenne was off to school. Even though her Daddy is over in Asia-Pacific for 3 weeks, she went of with joy in her heart. Below is an excerpt from an email that Cheryl sent to Craig concerning her first day of school.

“I just dropped off our baby at her first day of kindergarten! She looked so cute in her red dress! She got up with no problem at the same time as Cody and she was actually excited. I had to act like I was for her sake. The frozen pancakes are what they wanted for this milestone day.

As soon as we got out of the car she turned to me with a huge smile on her face and said, “Bye mommy!” I about lost it there. Why is she so thrilled to be leaving me for 3 ½ hours?!? No, I am glad she got excited about going. It will make it easier for me. I only sat in the parking lot for 10 minutes and cried then drove to Curves without hitting anyone.’

Continue to pray for us as a family during our time of separation and pray that the paper work for my visa renewal here in Asia-Pacific will be finished in order for me to leave on September 20th,
