On Thursday, 13 May, the Ascension of Christ was celebrated here in Indonesia. We joined forces with the GIDI church of Papua located here in our town. Often on holidays like this many churches will have their services at the beach. It was about a 3 hour drive over the mountains and through the woods to this particular beach. When we arrived we found a secluded spot underneath the umbrella of a huge beringin tree. We had a great time of fellowship in the Word of God, while enjoying the creation of God. After the service we ate and had some time of games. Thank you Lord for your creation and thank you Lord for your salvation.
