I don’t know better words to use right now. Today, August 8th Jason & Tami Hughes, Drew & Leasa Decuir and Nicole Cogan are on a separate planes, all heading to the country of Papua New Guinea (PNG). Why are we excited? Why are we proud? These guys are all from the missionary training class that we started with when we first arrived here at the Missionary Training Center for Ethnos360. We spent two years with these and others. We have been in their homes and they in ours. We have sat around fires in early mornings and been on men’s hikes, and many other things.
Why are we excited and proud? Because few countries can match the cultural diversity of Papua New Guinea, whose 7 million people speak more than 800 languages, and live mostly in rural, indigenous communities.* These new missionaries will be part of teams planting thriving churches among several of these people groups.
Why are we excited and proud? Because people like you who are a part of our team of prayer and financial supporters get to reap the harvest of souls along with them and us.
Pray for these new missionaries as they embark on this journey. Pray for us as we continue to invest our lives in the lives of the next generation of missionaries and church planters. Pray that the Lord will raise up others to join our partnership team through prayer and giving. Pray the Lord will raise up more laborers for HIS HARVEST FIELDS.
