Most of our new eLinc group.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Wow! That is the only word that comes to mind as I reflect on our first week of orientation here at the Missionary Training Center. Because Craig and I are beginning a brand new ministry here, the staff felt it helpful for us to sit it on all the classes of this first semester. We are like the other 34 first semester students … new notebooks, pencils, name tags, excitement … with just a few years on them. \ud83d\ude42 We have been challenged anew, refreshed, blessed! And this is only the beginning. We look forward to what God has in store for us. Already, I, Cheryl, have shed many tears in class as I am reminded of my sinful heart, as I hear stories of heroes in the middle of the jungle, as I search my heart for anything that would disqualify me, as I am reminded of this daunting task of tribal\u00a0evangelism\u00a0and how\u00a0incapable\u00a0I am, as God gently reminds me that “His grace is sufficient”. Wow!<\/span><\/p>\n

Our E-LINC group: Is comprised of 3 couples and 3 single men whom we will walk through the next two years with. We meet twice weekly just getting to know each other for E<\/b>quipping through L<\/b>istening, I<\/b>nteracting, N<\/b>ourishing, andC<\/b>hallenging (E-LINC). I am gonna love this time. We co lead it with our friends, Ray and Dulcie Milton. Pray for us as we walk through life with the Bells, the Lungs, the Rockwells, David, Lee, and Josiah.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cody: Is back at John Brown University. We took him early to begin his duties as the mangaer of the\u00a0women’s\u00a0soccer team. That was a busy and sweaty 10 days before the girls headed to AL for a\u00a0tournament. Cody is using this time to catch up on sleep and fill out scholarship applications. Pray that God would give him a good semester, that he would use his time wisely, that he would walk with God.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cheyenne: Has one week of public high school under her belt. She is enjoying it! Some of her observations: people are way friendlier here, just because a person looks nice doesn’t mean they are, high school sports is a big deal! She loves being here, loves our group, just loves people. Pray for her as she continues to adjust to public school, that she would be friendly, that she would be an\u00a0asset\u00a0to\u00a0our ministry.<\/span><\/p>\n
