Florida Trip Highlights<\/span><\/span>
\nI had an great time in Florida! Amy & I were able to share in a missions conference in Lake City, Florida. I had an awesome time meeting new people & sharing about Mexico! I was also able to visit the New Tribes USA Home Office and see all the people that are need to keep a mission organization running \u2013 close to 200 missionaries! It was also nice to see that Amy & I are on thinking the same way about Mexico as we are getting ready to go! We were also able to put on a Mexican Fiesta for the Youth Group that Amy’s involved in! And I was able to see the Atlantic Ocean, but no gators (I think it is a tourist trap!)<\/p>\n


\nMissouri Vacation<\/span><\/span>
\nMy two weeks in Missouri was great because I was able to see four of my old roommates & their families, visit with staff, & encourage students getting ready for Partnership Development (after training before you get to your country). It was a nice vacation & very relaxing. I was also able to ask two missionaries from Mexico questions about life down there & especially life as a single woman, it was very encouraging & helpful!<\/p>\n

Do you have a job, right now?<\/span><\/span>
\nYes & no. Right now a lot people think that I need to be working at a \u201cjob,\u201d but this is my Partnership Development time \u2013 I’m \u201cworking\u201d on raising support (raising prayer, financial, & encouragement support) to go to Mexico! So that is my \u201cjob\u201d! But currently I’m filling in temporarily at the prison in Baker. Some of you may remember that this is the job that I had before I left Oregon & entered the training with New Tribes. I’ll be working at the prison until the end of January! Which will be great, because I won’t be going crazy at home & I’ll be able to save some more money for moving to Mexico!<\/p>\n
