We are finally at the end of the semester!!! We finished our three week language practicum on May 1st and have finished classes. \u00a0All the\u00a0students have left so now it’s time for summer at the Ranch.\u00a0 I can’t believe we are already done!\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>

I also organized some culture events for the students to participate in American culture, such as an American church service with a potluck, decorating Easter eggs & then an Easter egg hunt!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Our church took photos to send to our missionary in Colombia to encourage him. \u00a0Then afterwards we had lunch together and games to celebrate Kids Day & Mother’s Day. \u00a0We are still praying for a pastor for Dios Con Nosotros!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Praises & Prayer Requests<\/span><\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

Praise<\/strong> – we successfully finished our 2nd\u00a0language practicum that lasted three weeks\u00a0focusing on a language learning method that makes it easier to learn an unwritten language. \u00a0We are very thankful for two veteran NTM couples that to help us out. The students did wonderful & greatly improved in their understanding of the methods & techniques!<\/span>
\nPraise<\/strong> – we finished another training year at Rancho Siloe!
\nPraise<\/strong> – Luis & Vanessa (one student couple),\u00a0their healthy baby boy, Caleb was born in April<\/span><\/p>\n

Prayer Requests<\/strong>
\n– for more teachers & staff at the Training Center. \u00a0Currently we have three full time teachers\u00a0and three part time teachers. \u00a0We need more help to function well & complete the task of training Latinos to be missionaries.
\n– for our students as they head to their homes here in Mexico & Honduras. \u00a0Pray for a profitable & restful time with their familes,\u00a0friends, and churches.
\n– for our students to\u00a0raise financial support this summer for the upcoming school year
\n– a pastor & family for my Mexican church, Dios con Nosotros
\n– for travel plans for the Sanchez family as they\u00a0head to Michigan to see their son graduate from High School.
\n– safety for all the missionaries traveling to the meetings next week\u00a0– that it will be a refreshing time for all & encouraging
\n– I have a two week trip planned to Louisiana two days after the meetings. I’ll be visiting family, sharing\u00a0in a church (Erwinville Baptist Church) & participating in their VBS this summer.
\n– please\u00a0pray for more missionaries to head to tribal villages here in Mexico & around the world
\n– this week at the Ranch we have a missionary, Amelia, from Baja California that works with the Triqui indians. \u00a0Amelia & her helper, Alejandra, are here doing more translation work on the book of Genesis. Pray for focus & endurance during this time.<\/p>\n
