Last week, Casie and I had the honor of spending time in Sanford, Florida with a team which is devoted to offering care to the missionaries who serve in NTM. Most of them have many years of experience in tribal church planting all over the world.
Rather than looking for an easy responsibilty to assume after working diligently for so many years they have agreed to spend their time across the USA trying to connect with missionaries who are either on their way to the field for the first time or are home in the US for their year of home assignment. Our aim was to talk with teh group about investing in Generations X & Y. It was great to be able to look at the biblical principles which make it possible for believers from different generations and cultures to invest in each other and work in harmony with each other. we also took time to consider some of the generational nuances between the Builders & Boomers and Gen X & Y. I am always blown away by the way that God uses so many believers from incredibly diverse backgrounds to see the Church built up! Please continue to pray that from the trainers to the students, senders to the goeers, missionaries to those involved in member care, we would all continue to invest in each other as vital members of the body of Christ.
