And while compassion is a reasonable beginning, is compassion alone enough? For the recent young widow raising two children, her finances barely enough to make frayed ends meet, is giving her money really enough? Without learning language, I wouldn\u2019t be able to offer much more.<\/p>\n<p>Conversations of the heart simply aren\u2019t best suited to using a translator. Which of us would long to share our deepest grief, our nagging doubts, our sinful choices using the \u2018telephone game\u2019 mode of communication?
