These days continue to be quite busy and we count it a privilege to be a part of seeing tribal people around the world have a chance to hear the Gospel. I heard a report yesterday from our leadership in Papua New Guinea that they are anticipating that 17 tribal groups will hear the Gospel for the very first time in the next 12 months. The is exciting news to realize that men, women and children who have been bound in darkness without hope will soon hear that their creator has provided a way for them to be reconciled to HIM. That is why we’re laboring here in Sanford to provide the support necessary for those ministering around the world.
On the personal side, I am thankful for the continued recovery from Mono. It’s hard to believe that the effects can linger so long, but I guess that’s what happens when old guys get attacked by viruses like that. I have been able to maintain a normal schedule, but the strength and stamina are not quite what they used to be, but I see improvement. Thanks for your prayers.
The family is doing well. Chris and Heather are planning to move to Augusta, GA sometime this summer. Please pray for the sale of their home. Chris has taken a teaching position in Augusta, but will also be coaching basketball at the University of South Carolina-Aiken. Heather will be working on finishing her degree at Augusta State.
Ally and Justin are doing well and enjoy parenthood. Justin continues his work with Werner Enterprises and Ally has just taken a new position with a larger insurance agency.
Gwen and I are thoroughly enjoying being grandparents. Gwen is juggling baby sitting with her ministry here at HQ so she is extra busy, but it is great to spend time with the grandbaby.
Thanks so much for your interest and support of our ministry. May the Lord richly bless!
Dan & Gwen
