Last Friday afternoon there was a small “party” at Moody Aviation to recognize Dan and his service. The kids and I were asked to come to be part of it and it was humbling to hear what some of Dan’s co-workers shared. In a few short weeks Dan will be done as an instructor at Moody. It’s hard to believe that he’s taught there for 3 years now and this era of our lives is coming to an end. It has been a privilege for us to serve here and be involved in student’s lives. We are thankful for all the friendships we’ve formed and for all the things the Lord has taught us about ourselves and about Him. Part of us is really sad this part of our lives is coming to an end and the other part is excited for what lies ahead. There will be many changes coming up for our family….. many of the details we don’t even know yet, but we know that God already has it all worked out! We just need to trust Him and walk by faith, not by sight. Easy to say but hard to do!
