Another warm day in the Philippines…89 degrees! It is hard to believe that a month ago has past since I, Darryl, signed a 10 year lease for a house in the Agutaynen village! My first project was electrical. A new water pump! Then I was able to hire an electrician for 3 Days and we installed the power and lighting fixtures. Since then, I\u2019ve painted concrete floors and concrete walls! I opted for a yellow kitchen and a light green living area…not much choice of colors in town! <\/p>\n

The Agutaynen village is 5 miles out of town on a dusty rough road full of pot holes. I make the run daily on my bike. I have no car! Too far too walk! Public transportation unreliable! Sometimes there is a 2 hour wait for a trike! So my bike ride is the best option!<\/p>\n

In town, I buy painting supplies and throw them in my backpack. Then I stop at a Vietnamese restaurant for coffee and to check emails. (No signal at our house!) Then I begin my 30 plus minute ride home…often stopping to visit along the way!<\/p>\n

Please pray for Stephen and Ginger\u2019s family as they move back into the village and start the second semester of school. Please pray as we endeavor to help with Sports Bible Camp,
\nYouth Group Kick-Off, Kids\u2019 Bible Club Kick-Off, and Adult Mid-week Bible Study Kick-off the next two months.<\/p>\n

Presently, we do not know the extent of our involvement in these activities other than supply runs for drinking water and meals. We will be available for what is needed.<\/p>\n
